Pico Bandito Shawl
so i made this dinky little scarf/shawl thing out of me messing around with a hook and yarn and double crochets and it turns out people actually want a pattern for it. go figure. this won’t be a pretty pattern but a pattern it will be.
i used a U.S. size h hook and sock yarn but i suppose it would work equally as well using any hook/yarn combination.
this pattern is so simple i shouldn’t even call it a pattern so lets call it a guide.
chain 5
row1: double crochet 4 in 3rd chain from hook, double crochet in next chain, double crochet 4 in last chain.
row 2: chain 2, double crochet 4 in first stitch, double crochet in each stitch except the last, double crochet 4 in last stitch.
repeat row 2 till you’re tired of it or you reach the size you want.
block the heck out of it. this will stretch like crazy. remember: tortured lace is happy lace and this is pretty lacy the way i did it.
